CICPA Approved Insulation and Cladding Contractor in UAE

Authorized to work in CICPA-controlled & critical facilities

What is CICPA approved insulation and cladding?

CICPA approval is a security clearance issued by Abu Dhabi's Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority, authorising contractors, personnel, vehicles, and equipment to access critical national infrastructure sites in the UAE — including oil and gas facilities, ports, and power plants. A CICPA-approved insulation and cladding contractor such as Novoclad has cleared this security vetting for its staff and equipment, enabling compliant, uninterrupted access to restricted zones for thermal insulation and cladding works.

How we work

Site assessment and technical review Our engineers review P&IDs, isometrics, and specifications, then conduct a site survey (where required) to confirm routing, access, and interface points with other trades.
System design and proposal We recommend insulation thickness, PP arrangements, material type, and cladding configuration based on process conditions, client standards, and CICPA site requirements, providing clear BOQs and method statements.
CICPA‑compliant mobilisation CICPA‑approved personnel, vehicles, and tools are mobilised to site with all required passes, permits, and safety documents to ensure smooth gate entry and workfront access.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions, Answered

Employees working at the premises of any establishment deemed critical to Abu Dhabi are required to register their relevant staff for security permits with CICPA. This applies to staff working both onshore and offshore, whether at sea or on land.

Any asset, facility, or company whose disruption could affect the UAE’s essential infrastructure, economy, or public wellbeing is considered Critical National Infrastructure and may require a security permit. Companies operating in the Oil and Gas sector, including ADNOC sites, typically need SPC approval and CICPA passes for personnel, vehicles, vessels, and certain activities when accessing restricted areas.

Staff working at sites classified as Critical National Infrastructure must hold a CICPA security pass. This typically includes personnel in oil and gas, energy, power plants, transport (air, land, sea, rail), maritime, aviation, finance, water, healthcare, communications, government services, and food supply related industries. Temporary CICPA permits may be available for short-term or special assignments.

CICPA approval is one part of our broader compliance record — see our full certifications, ADNOC approval, and ISO credentials, or read what CICPA approval means for your project if you're new to the requirement.
